A high-ranking delegation from the Indonesian university arrived in Algeria to sign a promising start of a new academic cooperation between the University of Tlemcen and the University of Malang, Indonesia.
Pr. Ali Hamza Cherif, Vice Rector for External Relations, Cooperation, Animation, Communication, and Scientific Events, presided over the inaugural meeting that brought together the two delegations, in the presence of the deans of the Faculty of Technology, the Faculty of Science, and the Faculty of Letters and Languages. The first meeting focused on exploring the prospects of scientific cooperation between the two universities and identifying the areas of research. It is expected that the upcoming days will have seen a series of meetings and field visits to the various faculties of the university, with the aim of learning more about the academic programs and research laboratories available.
The visit was part of the two universities' efforts to enhance academic and cultural cooperation between the two countries and exchange experiences and knowledge in various fields. At the end of the visit, it is expected that an official memorandum of understanding will be signed to define the frameworks of joint cooperation between the two universities, including areas such as student and faculty exchange, joint scientific research, and the organization of scientific conferences and seminars
